Philip C. Henry is the founder and president of Henry Wealth Management (HWM), a Bridgeville, PA-based financial services firm. After spending the first twenty years of his career with a large financial services firm, Phil founded HWM in 2003 to operate as an independent, fee based firm.
The importance of working as independent planners is that Phil and his team are not tied to any "proprietary" products. The plans they create are based upon extensive fact gathering and goal planning sessions, tailored to uncovering the important, particular needs of each client, family and/or business. Once agreed to, clients may implement suitable investment and insurance solutions, which are frequently reviewed. Fees are competitive and fully disclosed since HWM has always operated within a fiduciary standard.
Phil obtained his Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation through The American College, as well as his Certified Funds Specialist (CFS) designation through the Institute of Business and Finance. He earned both his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) where he was also a member of the football team.
Happily married to Beth and the proud father of five children, Phil and his family reside in South Fayette Township. They attend Tetelestai Church, a Christian, non-denominational organization. A long-time neighborhood bible study leader and frequent guest speaker at his church, Phil was Ordained as a Minister in 2016. To further his ministry reach, in 2016 he also founded www.PhilHenryPowerGospel.org, which features weekly Five Minute Power Messages and Power Blogs.
Beyond his spiritual calling Phil can be found many mornings at T2 Crossfit, and also cheers loudly for his beloved Pittsburgh teams, the Steelers, Pirates, Penguins and Pitt Panthers, as well as his IUP Crimson Hawks and South Fayette HS Lions.
